I was beyond excited to get a phone call about being the photographer for a grandparent and grandchildren session. When it was mentioned, I thought to myself... This is the BEST idea ever!

This session took place in Sanger, CA on an a beautiful farm. The grandchildren were staying with their grandparents for a few weeks out of the summer and this session was meant to document this special time in all of their lives.

For each session, I scope out the area prior to and then determine what would be best for the portraits. My approach for this session was slightly different than most. I wanted to get traditional family portraits while also documenting their time out on the farm. The first spot to start off the session was in the orchard. This made for some beautiful images.

We then moved from the orchard to the backyard to get some more documentary type of images. These 4 little ones were the absolute cutest! They were so much fun and full of life.
