Any graduation day is a big day.... Pre-school graduation, 8th grade graduation, high school graduation, and college graduation. No matter which graduation comes and goes, these days are some of the biggest days of our lives. These are days that we want to remember. These are days that we want to document and these are days that are perfect days for portraits.
Sonora Elementary Graduation day was one of these big days. We began by getting Abbie's hair done, and then taking some Sonora Elementary Graduation 8th grade portraits. These were so so so much fun. Abbie got her first very own kitten for her graduation present and let me tell you these pictures are to die for!
It is amazing how fast time flies. Growing up, I always thought it was just silly when grown ups said something like that. It seems like a year of school never ended and Christmas was always so far away. Since I graduated college, the years have been flying before my eyes and I cannot seem to get it to slow down.
This month Abbie, my oldest niece, graduated 8th grade. I am so incredibly excited for her to start this new adventure; however, I am in a bit of denial that she is already out of elementary school and onto high school. She is such a sweet soul and I can't wait to see the woman that she becomes, but I hope that it comes a little later rather than sooner :)
I had so much fun taking these graduation portraits and of course we had to get one with the family dog Moose!
Abbie, you are such an incredibly special person. Your smile lights up any room you go into and your kindness will fix anyone's bad day. I am so lucky to be your Aunt and can't wait to see all the fun adventures that high school brings.
